Twelve to fifteen Clans will be represented on the day, each with their separate tent and banners.

During the day there is an opportunity for people to meet the clans and check out their genealogy, perhaps get their clan history printed or a coat of arms.

There will be Scottish food and merchandise stalls, and a chance to taste the traditional Haggis. The Clan’s area is adjacent to the Pipe Bands contest at the southern end of the Paeroa Domain.

At 11am the local Pipes and Drums of Thames Valley will lead the assembled Highland Clansto the main street of Paeroa adjacent to the Paeroa Post Office.

The marchers represen-ting the different Scottish Clans will be adorned in their clan tartans and carrying their clan banners.
